No, you CAN’T shoot trespassers unless they face an IMMEDIATE deadly threat. Jumping through a window without a weapon would have been a great opportunity to have deployed less than lethal force. Such as a TASER. Deadly Use of force is based on Ability, Opportunity, jeopardy, preclusion. None of those elements were met in this case.
