Sports are supposed to unite us. Maybe we had opposing political views but we could still bond over our favorite local sports team and feel connected to our hometowns and cities in a prideful manner.

The key word there was "prideful". The Chicoms and their puppets do not want the American people to feel any sort of pride whatsoever. Only shame.
