I’ve always thought, a drone that could film and stream a basketball game would trounce the nba in ratings
The nba has so much garbage nowadays, if there was a unified platform where you buy a certain kind of drone, and with machine learning, the video is analyzed and automatically learns what a foul is, travel (other rules) calls them out in real time and ranks individual players, that’d be awesome
In due time the best of the best would have the best ratings and 1v1 games or 3v3 would supercede anything on tv
I used to watch the nba because of the drama and sheer competitiveness but the game has really changed and with the internet the way it is, no longer do we have to rely on stadiums full of drone fans who don’t know the game or sports athletes who only care about the all mighty dollar to lead the way.
