I think both sides, for the most part, want to see it just remain about the sport, not about politics.

I have to disagree with Brett on that. The leftists love injecting their shitty politics into absolutely everything and they are solely responsible for ruining sports and all other entertainment with this garbage. They want more political activism in sports, not less.
