OR if he had a respectable upbringing and didn't emulate pop culture LARP's he also might still be alive.

Everyone seems to ignore the fact that the reason these guys and gals are having fatal encounters with police is the absolute lack of real parenting going on in the homes of America's urban youth.

Things said like "I ain't going back to jail."

How about the fact that the kids that don't want to be gangsters are labled race changers or uncle tom. Leaving kids to choose community abandonment or community chaos.

The left talks about intent, how Trump didn't say Mexicans are rapists, but he meant all Mexicans are rapists. Inject lysol etc.

What is someones intent with a gun when the pose with it? I figure there are two gun poses. 1. Holding the gun in front of body with both hands, barrel facing the sky/ground. 2. Holding the gun facing the camera taking the photo. What would you say is the intent of either pose is?

Gotta get that $27M paycheck

3
Brakesbreaktrains2 3 points ago +3 / -0

They NEED to start paying these suits out of the police pension fund

Why the hell should I pay for that bitch's lack of ability to do her job

1
Sphinx3peat 1 point ago +1 / -0

For real.

No tax payer money should EVER pay for a lawsuit for a cop’s negligence and/or civilly liable actions.

Do that and police unions would clean house real quick.

Sad.

They all have one thing in common.

Not listening to the police.

From Liz:

"If Wright hadn't resisted arrest, he'd be alive today."

From me:

And the world would be less safe overall.

BLM celebrates misogyny!

16
mintscape 16 points ago +16 / -0

BLM's heroes always turn out to be some of the worst criminal scum. I just find it funny at this point, it's another part of this clown world we are living in. Good people are called Nazis, the worst get statues and praised.

11
Mintap 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yeah, if some cop shot someone like Thomas Sowell, there might be a strong case for what BLM is saying regarding police malpractice.

3
Not_your_King 3 points ago +3 / -0

It’s called demoralization. Marxists use it to weaken societies so they are easier to take over.

Ladybug87 3 points ago +3 / -0

Didn't Floyd also do time for armed robbery during which he put his gun against a pregnant woman's belly and threatened to shoot them?

If Daunte Wright wasn't a scumbag piece of shit he would still be alive.

Alive and in jail.

Which to me, sounds worse than dead.

If it was NYC, DeBlasio would have let him free with a $50 gift card in hand

thisisatestof2 11 points ago +12 / -1

Wasn’t it Dave Chapelle who made A video about what to do if you stop by the police. Essentially, even if you think they did something wrong, comply and then fight In court and not the side of the road.

The whole street justice thing never works out in the end.

13
mintscape 13 points ago +13 / -0

Chris Rock did one for sure. Maybe Chapelle did also.

6
thisisatestof2 6 points ago +6 / -0

Your right. It was Chris Rock I was thinking of.

DystopianDoubleThink 3 points ago +3 / -0

You might be thinking of "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong", which are also hillarious.

It's a sad mistake on the lady officers part, but damb right Duante is very much partly responsible for his death.

7
PEPEpeepee 7 points ago +7 / -0

I honestly think the people looting under false pretense should be shot on sight. It's one thing doing it, it's another doing it because of a criminal.

LarryBugman 5 points ago +5 / -0

There seems to be a basic problem with blacks and the ‘monopoly on the use of force’ that we endow the police with, which is one of the core principles of a peaceful society.

Not getting to be dominant in literally every situation they find themselves in seems to be something they simply can’t cope with.

So we clearly have a choice; law and order, or them.

3
MasterOfIllusions 3 points ago +3 / -0

One of the defining features of America is that the state does NOT have a monopoly on the use of force.

1
LarryBugman 1 point ago +1 / -0

You’re right but I was thinking in the narrow terms of legal day to day affairs excluding self defence.

2
FreedomFlowerDelta 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only thing they dominate is hate

4
ButcherBoy 4 points ago +4 / -0

Seems like we should just have a law change.

If you resist arrest on the officers body camera, you spend a year in jail, before any other issues are addressed, no court, no lawyers. This would allow the media to focus on something else and show some respect for officers and the risk they take everyday. And quit allowing criminals to look like victims when they always start all these incidents. People who obey laws are the victims.

Would never pass muster, it's a direct violation of the 8th amendment.

3
Underpants 3 points ago +3 / -0

Choose your battles wisely. Is Liz 100 percent correct? Yes. Will using that tactic change anyones mind? I highly doubt it.

If there weren't a horrible negligent discharge he would be alive as well.

Always think about how your enemy will perceive you message. Then think about how the moderate will perceive it.

He is alive, that was a grift.

2
FreedomFlowerDelta 2 points ago +2 / -0

I really think there is a good possibility that he was just an actor

2
LarryBugman 2 points ago +2 / -0

In this situation both victim and cop are to blame; cop for incompetence, victim for being the party responsible for the need to draw any type of weapon.

The George Floyd case is sort of similar in my view, with Floyd (or his dealer), solely responsible for his death, and his stupid behaviour the cause of the involvement with an officer which DID NOT cause but was simply occurring at the same time as his fatal overdose.

If Chauvin is convicted it will be in essence for getting drawn into a resisting arrest incident with an individual who’s own actions meant that he needed to be at a hospital desperately, which Chauvin couldn’t know at that time.

2
GeneralVeers 2 points ago +2 / -0

Taking a wild guess here: that, after the Floyd riots, a lot of black (lower case!) people are now thinking "hey, if the police come after me, all I have to do is scream and yell and make a big ruckus, and they'll let me go in order to avoid more rioting!"

Well, they're guessing wrong, and that has already led to more black perps getting shot.

Or maybe not committed a crime in the first place.

Na. He is a garbage criminal and the world is better with him finally dead. God bless the blue.

1
Not_your_King 1 point ago +1 / -0

And I don’t care if he’s dead. He just sounds like he’s part of the black wing of the Left Cult. Probably thought he deserved people’s money because he was black. Probably thought whites were evil. Probably loved control and power. He was a leftist and now there is one less of them out there.
