I think it depends on each store - the one my family went to growing up was spotless, the food was okay (for fast food), and was better than the McD's in our area. The one near me? I went twice. Both times it was awful - undercooked fries, the burgers looked like someone just threw the ingredients into the wrapper randomly, etc, patty was burned, etc.
I don't eat fast food as a rule. I haven't had fast food in literal years now. Not gonna start now, but requiring IDs? Go fuck yourself, Burger King.
Bruh, they're one of the few good fast food places. Onion rings and jalapeño poppers, and actually seared burgers.
Not that anybody should be eating that stuff that often, but it's a pretty tasty rare treat

It really does.
The one by my parents is run by people who enjoy jogging, and it's the worst food you could injest. It went OoB a few months ago.
The one near work is pretty decent. Haven't been there in a looong "throw milkshakes at rightie" time, but it's still open.
Did you lose your tastebuds in a tragic boating accident?
Talkin best of the worst. Burger King Whoppers are up there or top when it comes to the big ass chain fast food burger places. Imo
Best thing they ever did was croissants and french toast sticks (although, they're usually shitty french toast, but still)
Around here on Wednesday you can get a Whopper for only $1
It depends who's running it. The one near me is awful.
