What does cussing have to do with not being a pussy ass bitch?
Literally nothing. The article provides more context to my comment. We're trying to combat online censorship but Lindell seems more concerned about getting people to act polite and speak nicely. It's his platform so he can do whatever he wants of course but if it's going to be moderated to the point of having to worry about someone taking a word or comment the wrong way and that gets you banned, then we're just censoring ourselves again under the guise of being "nice". Who knows, maybe it won't be as heavy handed as the article makes it out to be.
Having concerns of censorship under the guise of being 'nice' is hardly a "child tier framing of reality". Did you read the article or just the OP's headline? To me, creating a social media platform that isn't fond of 'mean speech' (however they decide to define that as) doesn't seem like a viable platform for free speech. Heck, your comment to me would probably not be approved on Lindell's platform for coming across as 'too mean'. It's his product so he can do whatever he wants, just seems like he's focusing on the wrong problem (how people act and speak) when the bigger problem is the censorship. The public needs more open systems, not a place that's going to be policed like a Bible study. And I have no idea what /pol/ is.
More proof we're going to nice our way out of existence. 🤦♂️
Exactly.
Whut’re we s’possed to do, nuke’em from orbit?!!
It's the only way to be sure.
frick <- I like to keep this handy for close encounters.
Yes! We need to be worried about whether the sewage system can handle so much blood. We passed "bad language" in 1957.
Nice people can cuss...
Rude people can speak eloquently without vulgarity...

What a child tier framing of reality. Return to /pol/, when?
