Yep. There's a local liquor store that stocks the beers I like. I've been there maskless many times. The owner was in a few days ago when I was and told me I needed to bring my muzzle next time.
Nope. There won't be a next time. I'll drive further where they don't bother me.
This is Texas too where there's no enforcement or order from the state government.
One of the stores I was in we read the sign before going in: Masks are required unless you have a health condition that could be exasperated by wearing a mask.
Shrug- I have asthma, sometimes it's hard to breathe as it is so I count. My cousin was with me, she has asthma and copd, plus she's had a collapsed lung and many other issues. We both legit fit the requirement. I'm in a tourist town where a bunch of people from the north come and I believe one of them complained so the big guy came out. He didn't even have the courtesy to take us to the side or anything, was just yelling it across the store. I looked at him, walked over to a patio set that was on display, set my basket of items I had intended to purchase down on that table and walked out. He offered to help me curbside and now I wish I had made him walk all around the store with a ipad on facetime so I could browse what they had but I didn't think of that till we left.
And the other store that hassled me was the liquor store. As I as walking in the door the cashier and some other worker bee were all ma'am, ma'am you need a mask. I said nope, no I do not and I turned around and walked out.
Never get hassled in my hometown. I'm going to file a complaint against the first store because they violated their own damn store policy.
