You're right about the House, but the 2022 Senate is going to be a tough ask. It's a very unfavorable electoral map for R's, and the fact that we're going to have a bunch of primary battles that suck funds and life out of an election.

Only way I see it happening is for continued tightening of election laws combined with the Mother of All Red Waves. Both are doable.

Fun side note: If you repeal the 17th Amendment the Senate goes at least 65-35 Republican.

Yeah, but term limits are easier. I consider that repeal to be a later task once CoS has finished playing out for term limits and people are more familiar with the process.

One big issue with term limits is that the staffers, who wield a ton of power in DC, aren't termed out. You have to include them and then we can talk.

On that note, a lobbying ban after leaving office is necessary as well.
