We have no terrestrial borders, we're easy to isolate from sources of external contamination, so we don't even have the casedemic phenomenon going on right now. Most Aussies are pretty unconcerned with the international borders being closed, life is almost back to normal with some frustrating, government-induced inconveniences.
I still see a few idiots around wearing masks, but nowadays I see more disposed of as litter than on faces.
