She will be found not guilty since there is no malice and LE has a higher level of allowable force. And the kid was a known criminal who was well know to be armed and resisted arrest.

This is a garbage premise, the manufacturers were asked by PDs to make them feel as close to service pistols as they could (dumb idea but they asked it it). Once again on failure on training and the PDs request as a whole.
Because someone wanted a riot and got a known liability out there on the beat to up the odds.
