Sweden has performed better than france, spain, italy, the UK and a bunch of US states. Death rates in norway and finland are absurdly low. I think they agreed to cook the books when sweden refused to back off their non-lockdown policy.

95% of the variance between sweden and these countries is 70+. Are they just not testing people who die in nursing homes?

All you need to know about the Nordic countries is that Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland are all counting deaths by covid. I.e if it's proven beyond doubt that covid was the cause of death. I suppose they use PCR tests too so in reality there are no proven covid deaths in any of those countries, it's very likely just the flu that taken it's yearly share of old people.

Sweden count deaths with covid. So out of the 90 000 Swedes who dies every year (total deaths), they run a PCR test on everyone and if that crappy test method says positive, then covid will be the "cause of death", no matter what the person really died of.

Interestingly enough the number of total deaths hasn't changed in the last 10 years, if covid where the cause of death then the amount of total deaths would have been 10% higher than previous years. In reality very few Swedes, if any has died because of covid.

And just like in the US, no flu deaths or influenza deaths in 2020, it's like that yearly and deadly disease just magically disappeared. But to be fair it's not really that deadly to the average population, those who die are typically over 90 years old with severe dementia and can't do anything on their own.

These are people who mentally and physically where like Sleepy Joe while they where 20 years younger, so imagine Sleepy Joe in 20 years if he's still alive then. They're vegetables basically and even the smallest breeze of wind could kill them in minutes.

I figured it was something like that. 95%+ of the difference in deaths is in the over 70 crowd. I just assumed the other nordic states werent testing LTC deaths for covid. Which would let the rest of the world point to sweden as a "failure" when in reality, sweden results are in line with the rest of europe. It's Norway, Finland and Denmark that are outliers with bad data
