I am confident the virtue signalling will stop once we learn about all the short-term and long-term side effects.

People have been getting it for four months now. Millions are vaccinated. If the short term side effects were catastrophic, I believe we'd know. It's the long term side effects I'm wondering about.

For some people the short term side effect has been death! But try posting about that online and you'll be silenced pretty quick.

I am aware of that but my understanding is that it's less than 1%. I think the medical professionals consider that acceptable and like I said, the partisan politics surrounding the vaccine make me wonder if there's a higher rate of death and how much is being covered up. However, outrageous and shocking facebook posts and unverifiable anecdotes make me wonder if the right wing has lost its marbles on this question too. I just don't believe anyone about the vaccine, which is why I am not going to take it.

But 1% is higher than the death rate of covid.

I did a spreadsheet the other day. Short term death from Covid vaccine compares with dying in a vehicle accident. It was about 0.03% using published figures not allowing for unreported deaths. The other reactions are much more prevalent. Just because you didn't die in the beginning doesn't mean that wall a year in the future won't kill you. Covid vaccines compare to the movie "Vanishing Point"
