A lady that works in one of the buildings I service, was talking to another lady, and I had to jump in quick.. lady #1 said "I got my first shot the other day". Lady # 2 said "oh I got the 1 shot and done". Lady 1 says "I actually caught covid 3 weeks before my first shot and I only felt shitty for a day, when I got the shot I felt like death for a week!" Lady 2 says " I got the j&j vax and now it's being stopped due to clotting!" So I laughed. And I said hold on, #2, nows a good time to start drinking! And #1, when u catch 'covid', ur body naturally creates immunity against the virus so why get the shot? .... Retard says.... well I'd rather get the shot then be put on a ventilator! Hahahahahahah I immediately walked away. These people are so fucking stupid, they dont even hear their own words coming from their mouths! Holy fucking christ! Some people cannot be saved.

I've been watching those shows where people live off the land in deep secluded subzero Alaska, all alone. Only themselves to rely on for everything they need to survive. It's actually looking like a better alternative to living in a blue city/state working a job.
So a cool thing. You can live in basically the middle of nowhere in Alaska and still have a reliable way back into town for supplies. There are flag stops all along the train track and they will even deliver supplies for you. You aren’t 100% on your own but 99% of the time you are. I got dropped off and went backpacking last year. The seclusion is eerie but nice.
I envy you! If I were a younger and less obligated man I might find myself there in the near future.
Visit it once in life and make sure to get out of Anchorage. God made one place on this Earth for himself and Alaska is it. I’m hoping to check out Gates of The Arctic this year but that is an expensive and long trip even if you live here.

I've had the same thoughts recently. If they really do follow through on requiring vaccine passports then I'm dropping out of society completely and I really won't miss it. The number of people I can even have a meaningful conversation with these days has dwindled to just a few, and I've had enough of the stupidity I see on display daily. I've already pretty much completely disconnected from popular culture, so severing the last strands of connectivity to Clown World won't be that difficult. I also already live in a rural area so I have plenty of outdoor activities to keep me entertained.

My mother is convinced if I don't get the vaccine, I will catch the Covid virus and either die or have permanent brain damage.
I used to tell people that if having Covid doesn’t give you immunity then a vaccine is impossible. They usually made a confused face as though they had no idea how immune systems work.

I drive Uber and Lyft and this is often the topic of conversations. I’ve heard very similar stories. I often ask them, “What if we have to wear these masks for the rest of our lives??”

My good friend had Covid about a 1-1.5 months ago. He said he is getting his vaccination for the extra layer of protection. I asked "Does it add additional immunities?" He replied "Not that I've read."
I agree, they don't even hear their own words. It adds no additional protection. The virus at our age range is 99.6%. He already survived it. I already survived it. The new vaccine doesn't protect against other strains (obviously).
The human mind is easily convinced of nonsense apparently.
