I don't see any way forward without a civil war. The left is going to keep pushing America farther left, while the right gets trampled over. Reconciliation isn't possible. The left would rather see the country burn than admit defeat, and the middle has been moved too far left for the right to accept a compromise.
How soon the war comes is up to the Democrats. If they keep pushing legislation that we won't accept, it will be faster. Gun control will be the nail in their coffin.
They will do their best to pull us back from the brink every time. With the internet, they can tell exactly how close to the brink we are. We gotta stop being on the back foot, or we'll get nowhere.
