My ancestors died in the Holocaust and a few survived and emigrated to America post-WWII. I’m a part of a minority (many times smaller) that has been enslaved and persecuted and mass-murdered for thousands of years. And now there are only 7 million of us in the entire country and 15 million in the entire world!

Be funny to see if they make the tribes pay reparations -- Cherokee, Chicasaw, Choctow, Creek, and Seminole all participated in slavery, to the tune of about 15% of their population being black slaves. If I remember correctly, some blacks whose forebears were owned by Indians tried to get on the tribal enrollment lists, and were turned down.
