Zero chance I’m taking the jab and I don’t trust it. I know about it not being approved by the FDA (emergency use only which is not standard approval) and that some folks have adverse reactions but my family is saying it’s rare, they got it and are fine, blah blah blah.

Without sounding too conspiratorial, what are some good talking points for me to use? I’ve also told them that I’m pretty sure I’ve already been exposed since I’ve traveled a lot and was around someone who tested positive, but to no avail and they keep pressuring me. Super annoying but here I am.

Edit: I see random posts of folks who die or get sick after the jab but is there a website that easily consolidated this info? If I could point to a handful of articles and say see look at these cases that might help.

Just say you ain't getting. Your body, your choice. You are an adult. Screw the control freaks. Wait six months to a year and when they are being affected negatively by the untested vaccine you will feel vindicated.

The funny thing is I actually hope I’m wrong because I don’t want bad things to happen to innocent people....but I will follow the truth no matter which way it leads and based upon everything I’ve read both for and against the vaccine it’s plain as day the risks aren’t worth the rewards. And while I can tell people I’m not taking it and explain to them my reasons I don’t feel comfortable gloating or calling them dipshits for taking it. I can kindly tell them I believe they’ve been lied to but try to avoid heated arguments. Been there done that w arguing about the election being stolen and since most of my family has already taken the jab there’s no point in me arguing with them. Need to explain my rationale and move on.
