They tried in Texas. That didn’t last long. Somebody shot back. Somebody got run over by mounted police. Somebody nearly got run off the road.

Oh get outta here! If you think for one second I think Mike Elliot is equipped to lead Brooklyn Center and its police department, you're not paying attention. This is his first year in office. He basically got elected because he's black. Over the last ten years, Brooklyn Center has gone from a 60% white area to a 50% white area. If we go back to the year 1990, it was about 95% white. Brooklyn Center is a city in transition and like most cities in transition, the whites start leaving and minorities and blacks start moving in. Then within 20 years of beginning of the switch, something crazy happens - in this case, it's the riots - that speeds up the transition and then the city starts a slow, painful decline into poverty, crime, neglect and as the city sinks, the city leaders become more and more unqualified and further and further to the left. This pattern has been repeated throughout America in every city that starts the transition. The transition starts when minorities become almost ten percent of the population and it takes about 30 years for the transition to be completed. In other words, there is no sweet spot on the diversity spectrum in which a community lives together - white, black and minority - in harmony and stability. Rather, everywhere there's a what the fake news media would call a "vibrant, urban community rich in diversity and full of promise" what is really happening is the community or city or whatever is being transformed from a white enclave into a black enclave. Given home ownership, people being reluctant to leave a home they've customized over 20-30 years etc, the full process takes 30 years but no one really remembers what it was once like 40 or 50 year ago once it's acknowledged by one and all to be a failed city/neighborhood what have you.

Mark Elliot has one and only one role, as the pattern would dictate. He will be the presiding mayor that will make the fateful decision, in this case bungling the accidental police shooting that sparked riots, that will seal the fate of his city. He will make the wrong calls again and again, speed up the decline, win a ton of accolades from Democrats and lefties and the city will be gutted within ten years of this mayoral term. There is nothing that stops this pattern once it takes root. Detroit and Watts never recovered from the riots in the 60's and South Central LA never recovered from the riot in the 90's. Cities and neighborhoods will never recover for the things that BLM, antifa and lefties are doing to it. By the time, Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center are clearly failed cities, other areas around will have already seen boom and no one will remember, how once every progressive hailed the likes of Jacob Frey and Mark Elliot. Just like no one remembers Mayor Eric Garcetti and Chief of Police Daryl Gates from the 1992 LA Riots. Few people remember Garcetti was the lefty up and comer who told Daryl Gates to back off and let the riots continue. Few remember how safe south central LA used to be under Gates and his SWAT team. Now, Gates is just remembered as a racist cop. No one even knows who Garcetti is anymore. 25 years later, Garcetti is still calling for the same failed lefty emo policies and still lamenting the "vulnerable" situation of the city.

This is how cities in the U.S. fall. Mark Elliot is the only man that can prevent the fall but instead he's firing everyone who is competent. The city council fears the mob. The mob fears no one and is working itself up to a torrential outpouring of hate and violence. Everyone sane will get out as soon as they can. The property values go down. More desperate impoverished people move in, with all their pathologies and their pathological baggage and they will forever mindlessly vote for dumb ass left wing policies. Meanwhile, all business with growth potential will move. A bunch of immigrants will come in and run one shop pop stores, plagued by theft and vandalism and the occasional group heist. Maybe in fifty to 100 years, somebody might get the bright idea to gentrify the town but even then, there will be a struggle between the group moving in and the group being priced out. There is no way to prevent the decline now.

k, so your problem is that I won't call Mark Elliot a faggot. I won't. He's much worse than that. He's the guy that should be remembered for 100 years for firing the competent and courageous city manager, forcing the competent police chief to resign and whose city council was so afraid of a mob, they voted to go along with him. No one competent is going to try to help Mark Elliot out now. Look at how he treated those who were trying to save the city. They'll just applaud him like a bunch of drunk monkeys for spouting the correct left wing slogan while his city burns. Right now, he's a golden boy because the fake news loves a riot and he's giving them one. In time though, he'll be forgotten, just like Garcetti.
