At this point, Russia is more like how America used to be. Nowhere as good as America used to be in the 80's and 90's, but they do things like promote family units, don't stifle their own populations birth rates then use that as an excuse to immigrate people, actually want their people to be prosperous, don't kowtow to racial and gender and snowflake bullshit, don't raise their kids with the notion that they are evil oppressors who deserve nothing but hate because of their race, etc.

I honestly don't think Russia is anything like America or what it used to be.

Agreed. The propaganda coming out of Putin's Russia is better than anyone else's.

Well shit that's just like how America used to be.

Then Obama undid the Smith-Mundt Act and they turned the propaganda on us.

Unless I see pics of 110,000 troops, not “based on satellite images,” the stories lately about Russia and the Ukraine are propaganda designed to create tension.

No. Ukrainians in that region are anticipating this and Russian languagr television said as much. Many in that region want to be reunited with Russia especially now that it is illegal to speak their native language (Russian) and many of them dont even speak Ukranian. The tensions are real. Western media framing Russia as the bad guys is not.

But we've always been at war with Eurasia.

As an American I say US propaganda has always been better (more subtle) than any other nation. If we're the best in the world at most anything why not propaganda? We've has TV brainwashing the masses longer than any other nation so we know how to do it right. Also, our rigged elections were always the best, no wining by insanely large margins, notice the riggers always make it look fair, the winner only gets 1-2 points more than the loser.

It's not subtle anymore though.

LOL, ok .. A "Constitution" ... In Name Only, perhaps ?

So that's the exact same thing as what we have in the US? Or perhaps your point that Russia is as free as the US ? Or maybe you're just trying to be funny?

The grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it. We're talking about a big gas station with loads of outdated weapons stashed in the basement. They have their share of drunkards, hookers and pot heads, which is comparable to the trailer park dwellers. And don't be surprised at the fact that the fastest growing group is the muslims from the Caucasus region, which is supposedly where all the whites originated from.

Biden does not look good. Dont mix european news with european sentiment.

Victoria "fuck the eu" nuland. Spying on merkel. Flirting with erdogan. Fucking with european randzone stability.

Biden is weak .

Hades440 3 points ago +3 / -0

And weak is exactly what Europe looks for in American politicians.

No. We are depending on a strong american military that guarantees european safety. If we can not recieve credible american protection we will be forced to create a credible defense outside of transatlantic cooperation. It is in american interest to prevent a credible european military force operating in Europe outside of american influence.

There is a very big difference within various european regions offcourse, but in general i think the above is true.
