Regardless of where your opinion stands on this, it’s not good that the U.S. blinked and called back the warships. During the Cuban mission crisis it was the other way around. It makes us appear weak. Trump would never have done that, plus he was good with foreign policy and could do a much better job than Biden could ever do.
