There was that guy like 10 years ago on reddit who made a joke about how you have to toss your deodorant in the trash in the TSA line, and he said something like "If it's potentially a bomb, you're just gonna throw it in a trash can?"
Shortly after, he had his car in for service and they found a battery powered GPS tracker attached to his car -- he posted about it on reddit with pictures of the device. It blew up (no pun intended) on various news sites, then the feds showed up at his door to collect their device.
Maybe they were sizing him up to see if they could egg him on into doing something stupid they could entrap him on, but then saw he was sane and just mocking them.

I remember that. Wasn't the guy also a muslim? Most of the work these "people" do appears to simply be busy work to justify a paycheck.
