So I was circumcised as a baby and I personally don't mind that my parents did that. BUT isn't it similar to giving children hormone blockers (obviously not as extreme, but the principle). To my understanding the surgery is purely cosmetic and causes the nerve endings to be destroyed making sex less pleasurable. Do you guys support parents circumcising their children? Is it ethically wrong to make that decision for a child?

It started as a way to stop young boys from masturbating because it is so sensitive from the nerve endings lime you said. Its continued for hygiene reasons though. I'm not sure I would compare it to hormone blockers as it doesn't change the chemical balance of your hormones. Just not quite as sensitive.

because parents are making a choice to mutilate their child's genitals. how is that not just a less extreme version of hormone blockers?
