Almost every weekend my local newspaper is filled with articles describing the arrests of violent criminals, some of them mass shooters by definition, and they are almost universally taken alive, they are never white. Our jails are full of black mass shooters that weren't murdered but instead arrested. I suppose because it was 4 people at the local hip hop convention it doesn't count as a mass shooting in the media's eyes.
