Fun fact: Performance air filters like the one above actually do utilize a thin coating of oil because the fibers in the filter are not actually effective at filtering anything but major particles due to being designed for allowing maximum airflow.

thank you. i was not aware of that. is that what is in the "cleaner" for K&N type filters? i put one on my GTO a while back.
Most cleaning kits include a cleaner and an oil. The cleaner breaks down the oil so it can be washed out of the filter with water and then the oil is what you put on (lightly) afterwards.
You can find the cleaner separately since you'll typically go through more cleaner than oil (A 16oz bottle of cleaner will last you maybe 4-5 cleaners vs a 16oz bottle of oil will last you a lifetime).
I wouldn't advise ever running the filter dry however, especially if you live or drive in areas with a lot of dust.
Covidair intake. The upgraded kit for the super woke comes with a turbo running off the exhaust. The gasses help you to believe woker and woker shit the more you boost it.
