It's clear Dems & Reps will never actually do anything about spending. They are incapable of doing so in the current state of things. Only two things (likely only the latter) can fix this issue, both resulting in a huge economic downturn:
Convention of States - States and unite and amend the constitution, requiring a balanced budget, requiring all bills to be read aloud 3 times in each chamber, and there are several other options others have brought forward aimed at this exact issue. States can fix this if they had the will (they don't)
Depression - Our economy and nation take a downhill turn, to a significant degree. China swoops in and takes over as the dominant nation in the world. We become a slave nation to them
I've been working with my local republicans and the party is truly awful, I don't know how the republicans have ever won an election. Imagine if they were competent.
We aren’t going to “take over” the GOP - it would be like trying to turn a car wash into a Burger King - the GOP are not conservatives or MAGA and never will be - they are multinational corporate shills
