Nope. He had a criminal history, an active warrant, and escalated the situation with his actions, no question. Zero tears shed for him, or any criminal of any color for that matter.
That said, cops shouldn't be judge/jury/executioner and she CLEARLY fucked up, so her 2nd Deg charge is justified. Police aren't infallible and need to be held accountable for their actions when they fuck up.
one thing I overlooked after listening to a "conspiracy theorists" he crashed his car right? what if medical examiner determines the crash is the reason of fatality and not necessarily the gunshot wound lol then she walks BLM and antifa would cry so hard it would be the best fucking shit I ever seen
I believe if I was a known armed fugitive and made the decision to fight and try to run from the police I'd have to accept anything that came after. I don't think she meant to shoot him but once he's behind the wheel he's definitely capable of killing people regardless of if he's got a gun. I think it was an awful mistake that will mark the end of her career and become ammunition for more white on black / anti-police rhetoric. Bad for everyone involved, it would have been much better if he just played by the rules of society but I suppose that option was off the table a long time ago.
Absolutely not. She should get more than what she was charged with. I mean a 22 year veteran of the force and a training officer and you kill someone on a traffic stop?? She messed up bad and deserves to pay the price.
That the perp bears primary responsibility for what happened. Everything that happened once he decided to run was his fault. Were the cops inept? Yes, but we would have never known that if dumbass didn't already have a warrant, and didn't try to get away.

Dont put yourself in a position to be tased and it wouldn't have happened to begin with. Cops under pressure are much more likely to make a mistake

I think she'll walk, because women usually do.
I think this shooting could be motivated by politics, but not the politics BLM are thinking. Her remorse after firing the shot was so staged.
3rd time a female cop has pulled this trick, IIRC.

You only feel that way because the kid was black and had a warrant. Shooting a perp isn't justified because you're inept as a cop.
I don't care what color he is. But the warrant definitely affects how I feel about it, along with resisting arrest and attempting to flee.
Right, and he was already cited for being armed- so they didn't know if he jumped in the car to grab a gun or not.
use your heads people, not your feels.
