Many of us feel something like this

Same, between him meekly handing over the keys to an illegal coup, throwing his own supporters who came out to DC under the bus, calling for "peace and healing" with the enemy, and non-stop talking about the vaccine....really made me lose the same respect I had for him before. I still think he was one of the greatest modern Presidents of all time though.

Well the bar is low. I had him ranked above Reagan but the more damage being done by this current pedo cabal, the more pissed I get he handed it over to them.

You can look up to a person and support them without agreeing to every damn thing they do.

It's one of many reasons the Dems steamroll us. Whenever someone makes a mistake among our own, we get out the circular firing squad. Whenever a democrat makes a mistake, they circle the wagons. (Thankfully, they're starting to do circular firing squads too with cancel culture, but seriously, the right has purity issues.)

Nobody's perfect. Except maybe Jesus.

This isn't some small thing that I can look past. This changes the trajectory of the country and the world. How things like this get dealt with... Trump even touts the vaccine rollout as his greatest achievement (Removing all liability from these companies is part of that btw). If there was some kind of conspiracy that a man-made virus (bioweapon?) got out of the lab why didn't he come out and say it? Too many questions... This whole thing is the biggest boondoggle I have lived through in my life. I can't just look past this. I can't believe myself when I say "Oh he was just fed bad information".

Think of it like this. Imagine the greatest engineer does 999 amazing buildings. Then on his 1000th design he does the world tallest building. After construction the building collapses. People say oh it was the steel, oh it was the concrete, oh it was x, y, z. But, the reality was the design was just bad. The engineer will forever be remembered as the failed and disgraced engineer regardless of the 999 wonders he designed. To me Trump is the engineer.

I try to remember people for their greatest successes but if their greatest failure outweighs all the success that is what is left in my mind.

Ya i agree...but the way i see it...he did much more bad than good...and we dont want to fall in to the liberal mindset of absolute 100% agreement on all issues

The reality is, his messaging was on point in the very beginning. Basically saying, this will go away, it's not a big deal, stop whining and get back to work.
But he had numerous snake advisors in his ears telling him contradictory information, the MSM hyping it up to be the next Black Plague, and he had to make a decision whether to react accordingly. He doesn't like seeing people get hurt and that is one of his faults, so he got rope-a-doped into the fear porn

Correct. He went away from his gut instinct that he was using at first. He is/was surrounded by snakes and so far it doesn't seem like he's doing much to change this. He keeps endorsing the assholes that have gotten us into this mess. He could back any reasonable person, even someone with very little name recognition and they would instantly become a viable candidate. All of these establishment fools have primary challengers every election season, just start backing these people!

Ivanka might be cute but she's a neo-lib TBH. She was BFF with Chelsea Clinton before 2016.

Don't care. Don't care if Trump himself gets the real vaccine, provably, on live TV. I won't ever take it and no attention whoring will ever change my mind.
