When I was younger there was a small local cola maker, had their own store front where you could get whatever flavours added to the bottles (glass bottles). So, they started getting deals to add some inventory to the grocery chains. Once the company got a foothold in the grocery stores, it quickly became popular and so they gave them a second row. Coca-cola shows up (allegedly in that it's second hand) and tells them to remove the small guys from the store or they would remove the cola from the store.

I've had it, Still drink it (I have a fridge full) and it's the best cola I've ever had, though I do enjoy the Sarsaparilla more. It is hard to get but I'm sure there are inventive ways to get it.

When I was a boy, my mom's only surviving aunt was a very successful farmer's wife. She used to ALWAYS have RC Cola on-hand when we went to visit.
