I'll just carry more magazines. It takes zero time and effort to reload or carry two firearms.
The reason why you have larger capacity magazines in rifles is because they match the 30 round magazine capacity that the military has. Because the second amendment is designed to protect people from the GOVERNMENT. It just so happens to protect people from other people. It's a nice benefit, but not the focus of the second amendment.
