following christ to spite someone is kind of the wrong reason, but you'll get there, bro

Get ready to get preached even more leftists dogma at church. Better to congregate at home.

Yep—be careful. Eastern Orthodox will serve you well, as will Southern Baptist.

I realize those are quite different demographics, but they seem to be the only true Christians around these days!

I go to a southern baptist church that is based. Just be aware, there is schism starting, and leftism has creeped in.

Leftism tried to destroy everything. Because at the core of it is Satan.

I was raised Greek Orthodox and am now a Southern Baptist. The Greeks have the best parties while the Southern Baptists are more interested in serving God.

There are based churches, don’t settle for one that is compromised.

It seems you might be doing this out of spite, but it’s still a great thing. I became a Christian recently.

There is nothing wrong with doing something to spite the devil (whether that devil be Satan or a Communist). Do it with a smile. Laugh at their ineptitude and evil ways.

It’s kind of like having cancer. There are times to cry, times to fight, and times to find humor in the small things.

Might want to look into Matthew 12. Great starting point. Also psalms are great, lots and lots of prayers. Roman's and acts are great as well.

"Matching suits for the kids and shit". LOL. Yes, that's the way to go! :) I'm trying to say this spirit of rebellion is hilarious. I'm trying to say you're funny.

It seems like when parents stopped making their kids dress for church and special occasions, kids lost the ability to discern when respect was due. It's good to let go of comfort once in a while, to think of others instead of yourself. May God bless you all!

Try reading the Bible, cover to cover. I just started (I’m in Exodus) and it is CRAZY. Not just informative, but also entertaining! I end up retelling the stories in layman’s terms when I describe them to people.

Like the time God asked this dude to sacrifice his own human son for God, and the dude said, “Okay”, and God said, “Nah!! Just playin’! Was just testing your faith!” Lol!

And when God asked Moses to relay messages to the Pharaoh and Moses basically said, “Umm....I’m a weak a** man....maybe my brother can do that...I’ll just be moral support and carry this rod”.

Everything in there is SO relatable.

I made it all the way to Leviticus. I like the Christians, I was raised one... and In some ways I will always be one - but I'm not seeing the light. You guys do - that's good enough for me.
