Oh, yeah, I got your point. I was just curious as to how much a police officer makes to be able to afford that home. So the 50k makes sense. Our local cops make about 35k but our housing is so inflated, most of them have smaller homes, or live in apartments/duplexes.
Keep in mind that the married cop couple would have started out like that. The gal and her husband both are several years in so they probably started out at like 30k 20 years ago. They probably originally had a small little house that they sold to make the down payment. Plus remember cops make ridiculous amounts of overtime if they want to.
