Someone posted that Obama was trying to have Biden take credit for the USA leaving Afghanistan. That's not going to happen. Biden could honor the deal (May 1st withdrawal), which he won't, or the Taliban will start fighting back. The article states no USA troop has died in Afghanistan in over a year. Trump set that precedent. Once the firing starts we'll stay until the graveyard of empires gets its way. You wait until we hear the dumb ass excuses from the Jan 2021 onward regime of why "we" need to stay in Afghanistan. Every active duty member needs to seek an honorable separation the best they can and gtfo.
They're thinking is if you don't leave by May 1st we don't trust anything you'll ever say and any negotiations they do with the USA is only after the USA leaves the country. They won't even attend the international meetings set to happen soon because they see it as a delay tactic.
