Unpopular opinion here. As a Texan and LTC holder, I like that anyone could get an LTC pretty easy. They made it affordable a few years ago and the process was also streamlined. Those surveyed who took the courses unanimously agreed they learned something they didn't know about safety, the law, how to peacefully de-escalate a situation, etc.

With this, I feel like they just WANT untrained and irresponsible people to carry in public to make sure we have problems that will justify the next big gun grab. I feel like we've just doubled our number of illegals and at the same time yelled out for everyone to grab a gun. What could go wrong?

If any state wants to make a change, ban the NFA in your state. Remove enforcement of ALL gun laws.
