For as much as Mother Jones sucks, I do like their definition of mass shootings and they do a good job of tracking them with sources. I was bored at work a few years back and opened up every single source news article for every single mass shooting they had listed for a particular year, it was probably around 2015 or so. I created a spreadsheet where I tracked the shooter's name and once the list was compiled I accounted each shooter's race/ethnicity. Something like 85% of the shooter's were black and the victims were around the same. The vast majority of the remaining 15% were hispanic with only a few of the shooter's being white. Blacks overwhelmingly make up the majority of mass shooters and it doesn't all happen in Chicago and LA. It's rampant in the south, right along the nation's black belt if you will, people being shit indiscriminately on a nightly basis.
