Realizing this might doxx me a bit but willing to take the risk. I am a member of a farming email listserv in a very very liberal state. The listserv is supposed to support the farming community with questions and answers and networking which it kind of does, but lately some moonbat virtue signaling has been creeping in more and more with lots of pronoun identifying in the signatures (including one informing everyone that we should use the pronouns "ki" and "kin" when referring to earth or any plants or animals).

For the past two days there has been a bit of an uproar on the listserv because someone offered some excess tomato plants for sale for 5 bucks except if you were BIPOC or LBGTQ you could have them for free. Someone responded that this was discriminating and it caused an uproar with a lot a LOT of emails coming in with articles and information to "educate" any bigots among the farming community on their privilege etc etc. There were many thank you emails and a little push back from a few people and finally (i think it was an email where some woman offered to buy the tomatoes to give to bisexual farmers or something even though they were already free to them?) I couldn't take it anymore. So I simply asked if kin (the tomatoes) were free to a white woman farmer or if i had to be bisexual too.

Edit: I should add that I have been getting stalked by some of these assholes now and even got one veiled threat. One person said she had been seething with rage already prior to my email and mine was the straw that broke the camel's back. One person reached out directly to see if she could change my mind and I definitely upped the amount of informative articles being sent to all the other poor farmers. I got three thank yous including one from a farmer im actually friends with and he said he wished he'd had the balls to say something about it too. Interestingly I thought he was much more liberal and was very pleasantly surprised.

TLDR yesterday I asked a legitimate question about the progressive structure of tomato pricing and all hell broke loose.

I know this isn’t worth anything, but I’m proud of you for having the courage to say what you think instead of being a fearful sheep. They can’t cancel us all.
