I didn't say anything about whether you should listen to him. I said that if you take Alex's word for it you'll look like a fucking idiot when you're debating someone on the left about something because your argument will be full of assumptions and conjecture. I think Alex is entertaining and you can learn from him but if you use him as a primary source you don't have a very good grasp on reality.
