I thought Texas already allowed this? Specifically, a loaded handgun in each hand actively shooting into the sky, in public. Maybe, this removes the requirement to shout "Yee-Haw" while shooting?
Texas went crazy a while back first removing right to carry and requiring licenses. Now thankfully they have been slowly repealing all of the bullshit the last couple of years.
Can confirm Missouri. Outside of St Louis (which even there One can legally carry anywhere, usually not open) most of the towns around are open carry. They’ve had constitutional carry for a few years now and CCL for many many before that. They also have CCL reciprocation with almost any other state that has any sort of reciprocation laws with anyone.
Also, it is not a felony to carry a firearm ANYWHERE in the state (courthouses, hospitals, school zones etc).
If you can get one into there the most they can do is ask you to leave and give you a ticket (akin to noise complaint). If you refuse to leave then you’re committing felony trespassing and that’s a no no, gun or not.
You have to understand the history that goes back to the civil war, which is when we lost our right to carry handguns. It was virtually against the law until 1995. It’s only been in the last 10-12 years that constitutional carry has become an issue. Rather than incremental gun control, we’ve been on a path of incremental relief from gun control that’s been on us since 1871.
In terms of gun rights probably not, but remember which state sued the fraudulent ones? Remember which state is fighting illegal immigration the hardest? Remember which state is still red even though it was supposed to be purple? Remember which state has Lt. Col. Allen West (That ought to be worth 10 points alone)? So we are definitely behind on gun laws. We gotta vote out our pussy RINO governor and get a DeSantis of our own in. But let's stop pretending Texas is a giant pussy. Many counties straight up ignore the gun restrictions because a lot of Texas is rural. Most counties didn't obey the lockdown ever or mask policy. I know Abilene didn't at least while I was hunting there. I live in rural Central Texas and nobody gave a shit here either.
I'm north-east of Austin and it's complete cuckland. Masks everywhere but many cities and towns with the exception of Austin are removing their ordinances. I have to believe that city councils have been catching heat from both citizens and businesses over the covid BS. Round Rock had its own mask ordinance in place in addition to Abbott's order. They were going to keep it in place through April, but then repealed that and it's going away on April 22nd. I really hope Texans are getting fed up with the BS and making their voices heard. Abbott's change in tone in the past few months suggests that. He also said he would sign a bill making TX and 2A sanctuary state and according to the news I saw today, the TX Dem's gun control bills have been going no where.

I lived in Texas about 10 years ago and technically you couldn't even carry a handgun openly at all unless you were "travelling".
A lot has changed since then however.
I'm always Traveling, you know Point A to Point B.
Yes, but back in the day you had to convince a jury.
I'm more of a rambling man, from here to maybe over there.
The gipsy heritage defence is also very effective. "I am a traveller you bigot."
I'm normally shuffling through the Texas sand...but my head's in Mississippi.

What?
Texas didn't remove anything.
Before carry licenses came, you could not carry at all unless you were "travelling."
This had been in place since the civil war.
*edit - specifically handguns it's always been legal to carry long guns pretty much anywhere at any time
Have gun, will travel.
Open carry of rifles was legal, but not handguns. You needed to suck someone's dick to get permission. Texas isn't as based as they believe.
Yeah, Missouri and Florida are far more Based.

Texas isn’t that based at all - very restrictive with firearms. Having to get an LTC, when the constitution already exists...

Basically racism, thats why gun bans exist. Ans womens rights.

They are super cucked on emission testing as well lol
Only in the shithole cities. I got my 10yo vehicle inspected the other day in 3 minutes. The only thing they checked was my insurance.
Check engine light on? No. Good to go.
You clearly have never been to California.
That's done county by county I believe. So yeah, Travis, harris, Dallas, probably bexar, all require stringent emission testing.
I don't actually hate this one. Way too many illegals with 30 year old pickups belching poorly burned gasoline out the end.
Lotta fags in Texas government needing their dicks sucked.
By fag, do you mean pedo?
Both kinds.
Andrew Cuomo's fan boy enters the chat!
No problem. You’d have to convince me to stop asking permission.
Somebody’s girlfriend cheated on him with a guy from Texas. ☝️
Texas...where men are men, and sheep are scared...and open carry of a handgun scares the average resident (thus the illegalityof it). 🤣😂
One if yours? https://www.breitbart.com/immigration/2021/04/16/george-w-bush-renews-amnesty-push-illegal-immigrants/
Check out the Navy homo with the fag jokes. All hands on dick, sailor! 🤣

Dats state-ist! REEEEEEEEE! 😂🤣😂🤣 jk
Have you ever fired your gun up in the air and gone "ahhrgh"?
