It's a great idea. All the early civil rights leaders were segregationists. It wasn't until the democrats saw their path towards domination did the "Civil Rights" movement begin.
In a country like ours, you can't have segregation in public spaces - commercial spaces. People should be able to sit on whatever bus seat they want, eat at the same restaurants, etc.
But residential spaces absolutely should be segregated, the same way the only people living in your house are you family. Notice how all the chimp outs are in northern cities? The south still has its problems, but for the most part blacks and whites live separately and get along much better than in a place like Minneapolis (a city blacks really have no business being in).
