Well you say that but I see people working 8 hour shifts with masks on the entire fucking time. Just blows my mind how these people sit there breathing in their own fumes all day.... And yea, let's get off work where we had to wear a face diaper the entire 8 hours and then go to a movie for 2 hours with the mask still on LOL

ENTP 13 points ago +13 / -0

try 12 hours :(

UltraFrogMan 10 points ago +10 / -0

Sorry fren

Former_Libtard 7 points ago +7 / -0

Kids have to do this in school.

7
SigSauer1776 7 points ago +7 / -0

Kids are the least vulnerable.

4
Former_Libtard 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes and the most impressionable and the easiest to control.

7
SigSauer1776 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yep, my millenial generation are a bunch of cucks. It is sad

1
c0mpl3x 1 point ago +1 / -0

Gen Z also cucked. Don’t believe otherwise

2
nutmeg 2 points ago +2 / -0

Maybe the rest of us don't have those jobs for a reason...

1
Red37 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have to wear a mask at work, but I can easily go 8 hours with a coffee cup in my hand. As long as I’m drinking a beverage I don’t have to have the mask on because food and drinks magically protect me from viruses.

Redpill-notCommieRed 30 points ago +31 / -1

It helps avoiding them since they don't make decent movies anymore. Woke nonsense and remakes into wokeness just doesn't entertain me.

12
jigglyp33n 12 points ago +12 / -0

This. I used to watch a lot of movies now I can't even stand most for 15 minutes.

24
MrMcGreenGenes 24 points ago +25 / -1

Picked up my 65" Samsung 3 years ago for $350 when Wally World cleared out the previous year models. Haven't been in a theater for decades.

PoorMansPsychiatrist 12 points ago +13 / -1

My son just put led lights behind my TV. Really makes it look great!

7
Lurker404 7 points ago +8 / -1

A long time ago I consolidated it all into a computer. Need one anyway so I might as well watch movies on it, too. It's a TV, cinema, gaming console, office PC, smartphone all in one for a fraction of the price.

4
BaldyGull 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same. I have a wireless keyboard with an attached trackpad and a steam controller.

14
FlyinHeadlock 14 points ago +17 / -3

When I was a kid they would check ID's for R movies. I stopped going to movies when they stopped. Seeing a 5 year old in a R movie at 10PM no thanks. Not sitting around people with no value system and giving money to businesses not enforcing the law.

kornesque 9 points ago +9 / -0

Imagine the faux butter grease all over your mask as you suffocate through another SJW session. Very disrespectful.

9
rochrealtor 9 points ago +11 / -2

What is a movie theater?

8
Warcraft1966 8 points ago +10 / -2

I think it's a place where ppl use to watch shitty recorded shows from hellywood and ate over priced popcorn and drank disgusting swill called soft drinks

5
rochrealtor 5 points ago +6 / -1

I seem to have a very vague memory of that. Are there any left? [sarcasm off] I don't know one person who has gone to a movie theater in years!

4
Warcraft1966 4 points ago +4 / -0

Me either, but it was a long time ago.

4
PoorMansPsychiatrist 4 points ago +4 / -0

The only ones I've seen are old re releases. Good to see the classics on the big screen.

4
HiddenDekuScrub 4 points ago +4 / -0

There was a dinner theater that kept having old movie events because all the new movies were crap, just before the Plague of Stupid hit.

We went there quite often for family nights out.

Themodsrfags 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thats where you go to get a handy

8
Demonspawn 8 points ago +8 / -0

Frankly, I stopped going to movie theaters a long time ago. When the cost of two tickets was more than the DVD (never mind popcorn and soda), then what's the point?

If the movie is good, I can buy it and rewatch it as many times as I want for less than going to see it when it first comes out. Not to mention I have a better idea of if the movie is worth buying by the time it is released on DVD.

7
T_Hage 7 points ago +8 / -1

Theaters died when I got my 70” 4K tv and surround sound.

7
jaeger 7 points ago +8 / -1

Aren't like 95% of the theaters owned by china and why only globohomo movies can get distributed, do not support.

7
Unicron3 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah, these places used to be the default venue for a night out. The past year proved they've outpriced their usefulness as I have not really missed them. It just makes me sad that another business model has been destroyed by the left and their abhorrent polices and beliefs.

5
TearofLys 5 points ago +5 / -0

They still would be good places to take a date. Unfortunate they have to pay the price for Hollywood's wokeness.

4
Lurker404 4 points ago +4 / -0

destroyed by the left

Large part of the reason I stopped going to cinemas a long time ago: they're in cities run by the left who turned formerly nice cities into dirty crime-ridden shitholes. You need a large posse to go there and stay safe, especially women.

Fuck that. Waste of time and money.

4
BaldyGull 4 points ago +4 / -0

Drive-ins in rural areas are nice. Not many of those left.

6
Bullgod 6 points ago +6 / -0

I'm in a red state. I wanted to see Godzilla vs Kong on the big screen. I called ahead and asked about masks. They said they'd like you to wear one until you're in your seat. You can remove it once you're seated.

I showed up, saw people without masks, and never put one on. I won't wear one. Everyone working was polite and I had no issues.

This is why I live in a red state.

4
Chinese_spy2 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly. If no one follows the "rule," then the rule becomes obsolete.

5
trumpmixtape 5 points ago +5 / -0

AMC owned by Wanda Group AKA China.

Theres your answer.

Bonus: who does China work for?

3
Chinese_spy2 3 points ago +3 / -0

Who does China work for? The ideal answer would be... the Chinese people. But that is horribly and sadly untrue.

5
UltraFrogMan 5 points ago +5 / -0

Touching the mask is all it takes to become infected. Lol

3
Chinese_spy2 3 points ago +3 / -0

Cue video montage of Biden touching his mask.

5
ENTP 5 points ago +5 / -0

eat and drink the whole time

5
BaldyGull 5 points ago +5 / -0

When I go in to my office job, I sip on some drink the whole time.

4
negiasu 4 points ago +4 / -0

I try to do this whenever I'm at a restaurant

4
BaldyGull 4 points ago +4 / -0

You could just wait until someone bitches and take a drink. Last I was at the office, I chatted with a coworker in their cubicle and at first they put up their mask. Then I explained I was drinking and immune from COVID, to which he said he too was drinking and pulled down his mask. We both nodded in agreement with silent understanding.

5
Donarudo_Taranpu 5 points ago +5 / -0

Movie Theaters are going the way of Blockbuster Video.

5
Warcraft1966 5 points ago +5 / -0

Let them all go bankrupt. Better off without them shoving the hellywood twisted ethics down our throats.

4
Vershnik 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even if masks worked as they say:

Air goes sideways from under mask - directly to neighbor seat in a Movie Theater.

Stupid idiots.

4
FucKamala 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah i already told my wife we won't be going to any theaters if they mandate wearing a mask at any point. They can all fucking crash and burn. Movies these days are complete ass anyway. Thunder Force....need I say more?

4
Spawnlingman 4 points ago +4 / -0

Dude at AmC told us to put on pur masks if we werent eating. We had already watched half the movie. We left and got a refund.

3
BasicKekinomics 3 points ago +5 / -2

Let them die.

3
MAGAThor 3 points ago +4 / -1

We do not even go to movie theaters anymore. Always a group of 10 to 12 street/thuggish people’s kids down on the front row having a fucking party & shadowboxing instead of watching the movie. Local theatre where we live now was better however it was a daytime showing & still not worth it.

3
FredRedd 3 points ago +3 / -0

Just order one of their monster sized soft drinks (but not Coke) and nurse it for 2 hours.

3
Smdlegend 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck hollyweird. There.

3
CommanderInQueef 3 points ago +3 / -0

Tbh I went to a movie theatre to see Godzilla vs Kong and pretty much everyone wasn’t wearing their mask once they sat down.

3
RustySheckelford 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same.

My theaters have been showing classics and every time I go I take the mask off when I sit down.

3
Former_Libtard 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you wear a mask in a theater while seated, you should kill yourself.

3
bitshifter 3 points ago +3 / -0

Cult members do, thats who.

3
Danmax67 3 points ago +4 / -1

There's not even anything worth seeing. What I most enjoyed about movie theaters was eating popcorn with the family. I'd never go to one now. I think my kids will be telling their kids "I remember when movie theaters existed, I've even been to them."

3
jiminycricket1941 3 points ago +3 / -0

I know it’s a double edged sword because the destruction of US institutions is never a good thing. However, I have zero fucks left to give and just want it all to collapse. I will never do anything to assist in this acceleration, but I am hoping it speeds up. I’m getting tired of waiting.

3
ShadowyMrBlank 3 points ago +3 / -0

And why pay 30-40 bucks for tickets, snacks and drinks just to watch some retarded Hollywood garbage, and now you have to be muzzled, too? Fuck that.

3
7.62swinebuster 3 points ago +3 / -0

Put on your mask but don't worry about fingers on all the grimy smartphones or retail buying keypads were viruses actually lurk.

3
FamburgerHelper 3 points ago +4 / -1

I have a big TV in my comfortable home and I can make popcorn for less than $15 a bucket. I used to like going to theaters but now I don't.

3
Pepesforfreedom 3 points ago +3 / -0

When you want to “stop the spread”, but you don’t want to lose that sweet snack bar money. What’s a theater to do?

3
FlatEarth2020 3 points ago +3 / -0

Who still goes to movie theaters?

3
GarudaDarkblack 3 points ago +3 / -0

I never wear a mask for more than an hour at a time and that's at work. I take it off when at my desk so if people are worried about me getting them sick they can stay away from me. Most places don't even confront me about not wearing a mask anymore.

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Buy a large drink and popcorn. Eat and drink, throughout the movie. You get what I’m saying, Fren?

2
Nunyo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bring your own food and drink, fuck buying shit at the theater. Most of the theatres are attached to a mall and you can bring in bags. But it's better to stay home.

2
OnlyTrump20 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's now cheaper to buy a movie on DVD (or download it) than to see it in a theater where inconsiderate people will ruin the experience for you. So the movie theaters have priced themselves out of my budget. Not a matter of being able to afford it, but a matter of not wasting money where quality doesn't match the price they charge.

2
GODwins76 2 points ago +2 / -0

Buy VR, put them out of business.

2
BlackKat 2 points ago +2 / -0

When movie theaters open by me I'll be the first one to start a fight. fuck these people they need to learn somehow.

2
RedPillosopher1776 2 points ago +2 / -0

Take off the mask and ask anybody who says anything if they seriously get paid well enough to pick this fight. Randos just tell to fuck off.

2
BaldyGull 2 points ago +2 / -0

Instead of exhaust, I prefer the term vaporous excrement.

2
Preludachris 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s what the popcorn is for.

2
FlyinHeadlock 2 points ago +2 / -0

They just want bailout money. Best way to do that is club yourself in the foot and head to the fiat printing ER.

2
Warcraft1966 2 points ago +2 / -0

They can always go to mexico and cross the border.

2
BananaWizard 2 points ago +2 / -0

Imagine paying to suck Hollywood dick

1
Joeret 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s unenforceable. When as a movie attendant ever come back during the movie?

1
MapleBaconWaffles 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's pretty much all mind rot anyways. We're better off without it.

1
Babyfaceposey 1 point ago +1 / -0

No one is following this.

1
Wheres_Varg 1 point ago +1 / -0

What if I just sat with a piece of pop corn in my hand.. like I'm about to eat? Would the virus avoid me then?

1
nutmeg 1 point ago +1 / -0

I went to a movie last week and wore on of those cheap, blue paper masks and on me the sides stay open so I can breath fine. There was no eating or drinking though, I didn't want to bother with that.

1
JZSquared 1 point ago +1 / -0
  1. Who wants to go to a movie theater to watch movies anymore?

  2. Who wants to watch anything that communist Hollywood is putting out these days?

1
fakewhiterage 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’ve gone and seen 3 movies without wearing a mask the entire time
