There’s been an influx of race obsessed people here since last summer. They’ve kind of ruined half the comment sections. They don’t realize it, but BLM and the likes have them on a leash and are leading them to hatred. They’re no better than the identity politics leftists you see on places like Reddit/politics. I miss the 24/7 optimistic pro America rally it used to be, this place is getting to be angsty & pathetic. Nobody on TheDonald ever gave a fuck about race between 2015 and 2020, now we’re being inundated with identity politics too. SAD!!
Some of the black MAGA supporters are the most hardcore among us.
I agree. The whole BLM narrative sows racial division on both sides of the political aisle. It's something we should try to be above.
I live in the South. I interact and talk with and meet as many black people each day as white people. None of them are down with BLM. But you have to consider that I interact mostly with working class black people. I'm not out in the ghetto hustling with unemployed hustlers.
Also, some of the hardest working people I know are black. The security guard I used to work with used to work back to back 8 hour shifts 5 days a week and pull shifts the other two days as well. Dude was putting in 90 hour work weeks. Shit takes its toll on you.
Another black guy I worked with was putting in 10 hour days working at the port plus doing grave yard shifts on the weekends. He was on some pay off my house in less than 10 years hard core shit.
So you can't really stereotype every black man as some BLM thug. Turn off the TV.
It is a franchise. I think Indians owned it. Black employees were working the deli.
My favorite bar is owned by some local black business owners. They have bar good food at great prices and serve up cold beer at the best price in town.
I think there's a couple good black owned BBQ joints around town. And there's a seafood place owned by black owners that has great deals on seafood. Fresh off the boats. Crabs and shrimp. You can buy it raw or have them steam it for you on the spot.
Also, if you visit Louisiana, you'll find lots of really great black owned restaurants.
I don't go to Black restaurants. Would never trust them to make my food.
I'm black and I own a restaurant. What's the issue?

Agreed... not sure where the influx of racists came from, but they really have soured a lot of the comment sections.
