People don't understand that guerrilla warfare is almost impossible to fight against unless you're willing to go scorched earth and literally turn the entire place into it tilled garden in an instant.....

Not guerrilla warfare, but more specifically nonuniformed armed insurgency. That's why there are human rights laws regarding soldiers fighting out of uniform. It's all but impossible to counter, unless like you said, you're willing to just kill everything that moves.

It's not going to be guerilla warfare in the event of war between Ukraine and Russia. First of all, Russian soldiers won't even step foot in Ukraine. Russia will launch missile strikes on all of Ukraine's military & political command infrastructure. Ukraine's air force and navy will be wiped out in less than 24 hours. Most of their political and military leadership will be dead in less than 48 hours. At that point, the Ukrainian military will be in disarray and completely unable to launch an offensive on Donbass. Russia does not seek to invade Ukraine but rather protect Donbass, and the Russian citizens living there, from a Ukrainian military offensive. That's it. No occupation necessary.

Ukraine knows this, which is why things will probably de-escalate soon. Their lives are literally on the line. Out of a sense of self-preservation, they will call off the planned invasion of Donbass, but low-level conflict will continue.

I expect Russian troops will enter Donetsk after the Ukies attack them, as they have said they will. to establish a “ Peacekeeping Line”. They had threatened to do this before under Obama, but then Trump was elected and things died down. The Russians are making moves publicly, and in the open now, with no attempts to hide anything, they WANT the satellites to see it. Putin is telling the Obamunists, in the clear, “Fuck Around and Find Out.”

Vlad, if you are reading this, can you send one of those missiles to DC while congress is in session tomorrow? Thanks.

^ This! ^

This is how the Tolerant Left/DNC/MSM/BLM/Antifa alliance has been able to under-achieve their way to political dominance.

They do not follow rules themselves (apart from "Rules For Radicals.") They only demand that others follow rules, and make up new rules on the fly (or change old rules to benefit them.) While ordering normal society around as to what we are "allowed" to say/think/do (meanwhile demanding others display 100% compliance with Leftist Agenda dogma) they have shock-troops of SJW/BLM screechers disrupting political proceedings and looting/burning cities across the country, with full encouragement of MSM and the DNC's career-politicians.

The dictionary definition of "terrorism" is: Violence and/or intimidation to achieve a desired political goal or outcome. This exactly describes the actions of BLM/Anita/Tolerant Left in recent years, and explains the Supreme Court's pussy-hat pandering refusal to consider blatant election fraud cases (as well as many other "social justice" panderings attempting to appease low-IQ miscreants who will still continue to riot and throw massive tantrums anytime they don't get their way, or if they hear another jogger failed at resisting arrest.

Russia could wipe out Ukraine's entire military infrastructure, airforce, navy, and command & control leadership in less than 24 hours. This is what the United States Neocons want, however, They are using Ukraine as a sacrificial lamb, cannon fodder to trigger a political crisis in Europe for which Russia can be blamed. The objective is to force Nordstream 2 to be cancelled, and for a new cold war, except this time the cold war will go hot. The Neocons are filled with illogical and irrational hatred for Russia. And they are leading the world to a nuclear holocaust because of it.

The Qatari’s paid damn good money to all of the right SOROS-owned pols to push that gas pipeline to Europe through Syria. They expect a return on that money, and Russia is all that stands in the way of that.

Liberty0rdeath 9 points ago +10 / -1

They hate Russia because Putin and the people refuse to give in to the west ambition of a globalist utopia.

6
sirnobody 6 points ago +6 / -0

Exactly. They didn't particularly like it when Putin destroyed Obama's jihadist headchopper army in Syria either, with a force of just a dozen warplanes and a couple helicopters.

5
peltast 5 points ago +5 / -0

Which is ironic, since we had been told that Russia (The Soviet Union) was trying to force their globalist utopia on the world during the Cold War. Of course, they were, back then, but, the irony is there.

Maybe you have a point, but context is important. Afghanistan is a foreign land of savages, worth little. Eastern Ukraine is primarily populated with Russians. To many Russians, eastern Ukraine is Russia.

The Soviet-Afghan War lasted from 1979 to 1989. From 79 to 89, the Soviet Union was led by Brezhnev, Andropov, Chernenko, and Gorbachev. In intelligence, resolve, and planning, none of these men compare to Putin. As the 80s were coming to a close, the USSR was imploding. Different place, different time, different people in charge.

I'm certainly no mind reader, but seems to me that Putin demonstrated how far he is willing to go to keep Russia intact in Chechnya, particularly Grozny. Much like Afghanistan, Chechnya looked unwinnable under Yeltzin. But Putin made short work of it.

Regardless, tanks are massing and have been painted with invasion stripes to distinguish Russian hardware from Ukrainian, as the Soviets did before the invasion of Czechoslovakia in the 60s, so it really looks like it's going to happen. I don't know what will happen, or how it will play out, but I bet Putin does and has planned for all of it.

Putin got punched in the face in his most recent proxy war so maybe he'll be a bit more wary.

1
that_sound 1 point ago +1 / -0

Syria? I think you're overstating it a bit. Bashar al-Assad is still in power and holds most of the populated areas. The Qatar pipeline is still not happening. Nord Stream 2 is almost finished, so the Qatar pipeline looks less likely every day that passes.

Different place, different time, different people in charge (on one side). Putin certainly seemed to learn not to provoke Trump. But Biden is no Trump. And Syria is not Ukraine.

New presidents get tested by adversaries. Biden is being tested. We'll see.

The Mujahideen were trained by US Green Berets. I know one of them personally who did just that. He said they were some of the best fighters he'd interacted with.

in case you didn't get the memo

  1. Globalist shills in US stage orange revolution in ukraine to ignite another endless warfront so they can launder money through ukraine in guise of military assistance

  2. Trump started pulling back on the war front

  3. The military industrial complex just restored control of US

  4. They are now escalating conflict in the region.

  5. Reason Ukraine got mouthy soon as election was stolen was because they know that US will now send them whatever it takes to maintain that conflict.

PS. facepalming at reading the comments here. It's like people already forgot what the hell happened in 2020.

Newsflash - The same lying news services that you caught lying to you about the last election, were the ones who 'informed' you about the reasons and nature of East Ukranian conflict. Just like in that election, there are good guys and bad guys in that conflict, and, big surprise - the ones propped up by CNN and their ilk ain't the good guys.

What do you mean by 'destabilizing the border'?

trade with nato had zero to do with this war. stop listening to CNN.

East Ukraine and Crimea seceded because west ukraine literally overthrew a legally elected president for which the east overwhelmingly voted for.

It's no different then the many proposals for red states to secede after the sham of the 2020 election - except in Ukraine there wasn't even a sham of one, they just fucking stormed the capital and beat down cops until the government collapsed.

Crimea has been trying to secede from Ukraine for decades - the region's elections were unilaterally overruled by Kiev. Seeing the shit that went down, they jumped ship and are all the happier for it.

Only one destabilizing Ukrainian border are the people trying invade the seceded territories - no one living there wants to be under Kiev's rule. Ukraine at this point is literally nothing but an invader pointing fingers at the true victims after stealing the victim's legitimate electoral process.

No, they are not a free country. They were essentially given a choice, trade deal with Russia or trade deal with EU. They couldn't have both. Either choice would upset a significant percentage of the population. The EU's hands are just as dirty as Russian hands are in this.

It's a pretext to a bigger war. Remember World War II started with just two countries when when Germany invaded Poland.

So they didn't invade poland, a sovereign nation with the assistance of the soviets?

1
Willholbert09 1 point ago +3 / -2

Other people on this forum have presented the same argument about the central banks, and I asked them why Germany felt it had to invade Poland, France, Russia, britain, etc.. and if I remember correctly their response was that when Germany lef the central bank they were isolated by other countries so their only defense was offence. Or something like that. Sort of an off idea, I guess they think Napoleon also had to invade other countries to protect France's sovereignty.

Poland wasn't the based state then that it is now. Poland was loooooong an enemy of Russia. I'm forgetting a lot of specifics, but, look at the Polish Corridor/Danzig Corridor whereby Germany had been cut off from the whatever Sea. Poland had been vexing German citizens (I won't go so far as to say atrocities, but, I won't say they weren't, either.) Even Neville Chamberlain had to get onto them, albeit at Germany's request, to knock it off. It wasn't 'Poor Poland, just wanted love and peace and to smoke dope, then, the Meanie Nazis attacked them!" They were doing just as much dirt as anybody else. They just couldn't back it up. And, the whole "Germans killed X, and dressed them in Polish army uniforms and then attacked their own radio stations, so they could start a war!" is so transparently obvious as to be laughable. Note, that that wasn't Germany's motif in gaining land.

So, yes, Germany and Russia DID invade a sovereign nation, A sovereign nation that was fucking Germany hard enough that Germany fought back.
