I don't think that they shot their way out. Also, the Russians aren't commies anymore. Look at Russia, and it looks closer to what America was than what America looks like now.
Wrong on Estonia, half right on Romania. They overthrew Ceausescu rather than Communism. More wrong than right on Croatia. You are confusing what 'shooting their way out' means. Or, more properly, you are confusing the immediate aftermath with their exit from Communism.
Depends on the country. Countries like Hungary, no. Others like Belarus, I went there many years ago and remember quite a few of them wanted to be part of Russia. I would suspect that in some countries you have regions that want to be part of Russia and others that don't, such as in Ukraine.
From Poland with love: go fuck yourself. This goes to all the people in this thread cheering Russia on.
I love how all the yanks here preach how great and based Eastern Europe is but in the next breath they're cooooming to the thought of Putin rolling over them. He's not invading leftists, he's invading sovereign conservative nations. Really don't get the recent praise here for this, what's next you're gonna lust for USSR to come back?
Yes, sadly the eastern block has been wrecked by communism so the EU seemed like a good idea to help us recover. From the economic standpoint it still is, however all the globohomo stuff will be our undoing.
A solvable problem.
I don’t think those people want to be under Russian rule again. They shot their way out once in recent history.
This has NOTHING to do with Ukraine. In the Macro, this is just an extension of Syria, with the exact same Soroscrats pushing for war.

Romania did, Estonia did, Croatia did. There are many others I can’t remember.

Sure it’s a mixed bag.
We'll see. Certainly going to take Ukraine in the next 50 years or less. Thats clear.
We will see. Dumbest move they made was giving up the bomb for insipid promises. Next dumbest might be playing by the official international rules.
Never trust a Clinton.

Well most of the eastern bloc countries are clamoring at the globalist teet known as the EU. So obviously being sovereign is not that importnant.

You're pretty much full of shit.
You're so involved in the Cold War that you haven't been reading shit lately.
A. The Russians aren't invading anybody, yet. Let alone a conservative nation.
B. The Crimeans wanted to be with Russia, and they finally achieved it.
C. Ukraine currently is an illegal government, which was fostered/provoked/abetted by Obama.
D. Ukraine was actively fucking Russia before and after their illegal coup.
E. Fuck your 'sovereign nations' shit. Venezuela was a sovereign nation, and if any nation deserved to be overthrown, if not annihilated, it was one.
heck, the Crimeans and Crimea are Russian if I"m not mistaken
This. In eastern europe, nationalism begins with freedom from Russia.
Many are shills.
