India had their teeth stomped in during the Sino-Indian War back in the 60s, but they've won every battle since then, with the sole exception being a cease fire in 1965 with Pakistan. Failure is an excellent teacher and they've had plenty of battlefield experience.
China's last major conflict was in 1979 against Vietnam. Vietnam had just had plenty of experience kicking the shit out of American troops and they absolutely bullied China.
China has the superior military numbers for sure, but India has the better troops. Also, don't forget allies. India has Australia, France, Japan and arguably, the U.S. Hard to account for Beijing Biden.
