The kids nickname was "little homicide." The officers responded to multiple shots in the area. "Little homicide" ran from the police after they could see he was armed. He never dropped the weapon. When he turned stopped and turned around, his hands were at his side and he still failed to drop the weapon. Fact is the cop was in imminent observable danger of being shot. It's a shame that "Little homicide" was dragged into such a life to be caught up in this at nearly 3am at the age of 13, but this is again another in an endless string of failures of the "urban community" and urban "culture." As usual, if there's an opportunity to do anything other than look inward at their own issues, 'civil rights leaders' always want to point to someone else instead.

Usually at whomever has the deepest pockets.

Little homicide lived up to his name.
