If I were active duty, I would go AWOL. There is zero real reason for conflict with Russia right now. Any war would be so obviously political that I couldn't ever be convinced that it was for the betterment of our country. At least the war in Afghanistan had a few semi-legit excuses and the second war in Iraq was built on somewhat believable lies. This? There is no cogent argument for this.
