Honestly, I think they do have a lot of "retraining" for teachers... and I'm guessing a good portion of it is ends up making them less effective at creating capable adults.

Wow... Policing just got so much more expensive.

How about we do "how to get arrested" class in poor, urban neighbor hoods. We could make it mandatory in high school like sexual education.

Or criminals could learn to respect officers and not try to kill them.

Yeah that's a great way to keep cops off the street..... By keeping them in propaganda classrooms. This is pure AIDs. I mean it's okay to test cops on their knowledge and capabilities every now and again.... But every two months they have to take a class and a test plus other various tests.... They won't have time to save your stupid ass from other stupid asses who are trying to rob or murder your stupid ass.... Fuck sakes

Like she knows what they go through from her phone.

More like:

  1. Increase staff to reduce overtime
  2. Mandatory situational training 1 shift per week.

What else?

This is micromanagement and a terrible way to run a police department.

That being said I’ve always been a proponent of annual psychological evaluations for cops. The job takes a mental toll on people, and I think touching base once a year with someone who can make sure they’re handling the stress of the job isn’t too much to ask.

However their employment wouldn’t be determined solely by that evaluation, it’s more of a “wellness check,” that way we’re not putting psychiatrists in charge of the police department.

This is sensible.

What would happen is that a police officer with 15/20 years of credit towards getting his pension would all of a sudden start getting bad performance reviews and get fired.

Just destroy police unions and disband the police.

And teachers unions too for sure. But then the communists would lose their power base so that'll never fly.
