There are three times when wearing a mask is ethically justified:

  1. In appropriate settings like health care, spraying insecticide, etc.

  2. When overwhelming force, threat of force, or chokepoints necessitates doing so for survival (such as traveling on an airplane, entering a federal building, or being required to to keep your job).

  3. When concealing your identity or motives is a necessary step to infiltrate and overcome the enemy’s control systems or otherwise fight to destroy them.

If you fall under condition 2, you should adopt a condition 3 attitude at all times while wearing the mask..

It is your moral duty to subvert, degrade, escape, and inspire others to rebel against this anti-freedom implement, similar to how a prisoner of war has a duty to plan and attempt to escape at every opportunity.
