I'm in PA, close enough to Philly that rioting spilled onto my town slightly after the original Floyd shit, and I'd be willing to hunker down with my dog and my guns and let the shittier parts of the town destroy themselves. I'd rather everyone woke the fuck up, I don't WANT it to happen.

Burning those urban power centers might be the only way to get rid of the people who fix the votes. A functioning city with "law and order" protects the political class from violent, extralegal repercussions for their crimes. All of the corrupt Democrats in the blue cities got to their offices through peaceful and "legal" means, those Democrats have been politically entrenched in those cities for decades, what way is there to get rid of them without destroying the city first? They're not going to give up and leave and they're not going to allow themselves to be voted out.
