I agree. He knew they would come after him, perhaps he wanted to make this statement. He doesn't need Hollywood anymore.
He'll probably make a fortune still producing movies like those Creed movies he can milk for a long, long time. Still it makes me like Stallone more even if a lot of his movies were bad he is a really intelligent guy and he wrote Rocky.
The majority of his movies can be as bad as possible, he still gave us Rocky and Rambo.

Stallone is a pretty good guy so I don't have too much of problem putting money in his pocket as I happily spend money on Eastwood and Gibson's work.
