I will definitely agree with this post!!! In the past few years my wife will call me on the phone to ask me why the flags being at half staff.. it was usually in remembrance of a old politician .. as of late... I have no fûçkíñg clue....
^This. It's to be a visual reminder that "gUnZ iZ bad!". The current reason for half-mast was tragic, but if that's the only qualifier needed, the flag should just be at half-mast permanently. And that of course is absurd.
I just think of the flag being at half-mast pretty much since POTATUS was sworn in is due to the nation being in mourning for the loss of freedom and liberty.
I used to fly Old Glory everyday and night, I even had 3 spotlights on it. Memorial, Flag and Independence Days I would put about 25 small flags all over my front yard.
